The early 1950s were the times that Turkey was recovering from the recession that was caused by the Second World War. There were great developments both in agriculture and industry and that was when Sadık Özgür set up his first company.

Thanks to his foresight and hard work, it expanded over the years to become one of the most prominent groups of companies of Turkey’s hardware industry. The know-how that was gained led to more complicated production initiatives. On the other hand physical growth reached a point where larger space was needed. In 1978 the company moved to a modern factory building of 38.000 sqm and the safety locks manufacturing process became almost fully automated. Starting from 1980, new investments were made into diversified sectors such as steel doors, safes, fasteners, construction and services. This expansion led to the establishment of Kale Endüstri Holding in 1988. The latest addition to the Group is the tilt and turn door and window systems factory.
